Reason for ques no. 1:
As the zeros are 2 and -2,
h(x)=p(x²-4) and g(x)=q(x²-4), where p, q are positive non-zero real numbers .
For h(x), D=b²-4AC=16p²
For g(x), d =16q²
From the vertex ( -b/2a, -D/4a)of h(x) and g(x) in the given graph,
-D/4A < -d/4a
= -16p²/4p<-16q²/4q
= -4p<-4q
= p>q
By Remainder theorem,
Remainder =h(3)
Or, k= p( 3²-4) =5p
SIMILARLY, g(3)=5q
As p>q, k>g(3)
Or, k > Remainder obtained when g(x) is divided by (x-3).
