I was hoping you would compare InDesign with Illustrator more. Honestly, Illustrator seems to do all of the things InDesign does but much more. In Illustrator you can also reduce filesize by not "Including Linked Files" when saving the .ai file. Also, you can have multiple artboards within Illustrator (CS4+) which accomplishes the same thing "Multiple page layouts" of InDesign, no? What exactly can InDesign do that Illustrator can't?!

Thank you so much for the informative video. I'm interested in making educational math videos and using screencasting software to record as I write equations and explain concepts (similar to Khan Academy). It seems like everyone says that if the budget permits to use photoshop. But I've seen some screencasting videos that look very pixelated when I view them on full screen on my desktop computer. So now I'm wondering if could (or should) use Illustrator. Thoughts?

if i import a .png file into Illustrator and zoom in, will it pixelate?
