I adore "If We Were Villains" versus "The Secret History" (TSH ran off for too long and caused a reading slump). IWWV, however, made me cry for days and still haunts me.

I’ve read If We Were Villains and the Shepherd King duology. I highly recommend them. They’re all five star reads for me. I have Slewfoot on my autumn TBR along with Dowry of Blood and the Hacienda.

Cannot wait for that Cruel Prince reading vlog, I absolutely adored the series! Also got One Dark Window/Two Twisted Crowns and If We Were Villains on my autumn tbr as well, been putting them off until autumn season as well, I feel like that's just the way to go xD

If you end up enjoying Blood Over Bright Haven (on my autumn tbr too), save The Sword of Kaigen for the Winter season. 😊❄️ It is truly an amazing book. But painful. Be aware.
