Hi Jan, I just wanted to tell you about my plants. I to am a Monstera, Philodendron person with a mix of just plants I like, on the side. After seeing all your videos, I took the big step into moss poles like yours. The water bottles work great and after just a few months I have a number of aerial roots poking into the wet moss. Needless to say I'm thrilled and am awaiting big leaves! We live in Cleveland, Ohio, winter here so it is difficult to keep the humidity up but we're working with it. Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos and information. I look forward to seeing new ones!

Honestly it has been the most encouraging and motivating thing to me to try my hand at indoor plants to hear that a lot of it is just time and learning from mistakes. Admittedly I clicked this video thinking you'd share what fertilizer you use 😭 but I love your advice because it's so true, there is no formula to plant care. They are living things which means they each have unique needs and this is what makes caring for plants exciting. If someone gave us a magic formula, we wouldn't take the time to get to know our plants and build a relationship with them.
