I bought the elf brush you always use for foundation, and it is fabulous. I like it so much I ordered another one from Target.com on Amazon Prime Day when they had a competing online sale of 25% many products (elf brushes included). Even regular price it’s such a deal, but you can always get sales at CVS or Target. I also ordered one of elf’s higher end powder brushes. Still super affordable so I’m anxious to use that one once it gets delivered. I also appreciate that you have a mix of different priced brushes that work so well for you as it reminds me there are great quality brushes at great prices to be found!

I ended up getting the Elf brush after seeing you use it in so many videos. That was $6 well spent! There's one foundation I don't think it plays as well with in my collection, but for the rest, I really like it.

Yes, I love that Elf brush too for both my liquid & powder foundations. Brilliant video Shelly, and I loved your explainations for why the particular brushes work so well. My fave other brushes: Real Techniques essential crease brush (I find it a great small blending brush) & pink blush brush, Shop MissA el-cheapo small smudger brush & small pencil brush from their AOA line (great shape and it's not too firm), a few of the brushes from the pink metallic Sculpt & Blend set from BH (specially the 140 highligher brush & 127 shader/contour), and a couple of the "small" brushes in their singles range - I find they work so good on my smallish & heavily hooded eyes (the small poined crease, small shader). I prefer to use a puff for powder, but use a totally fab no-name, cheap ebay find huge fluffy brush for sweeping away any excess.

Shelley, you look gorgeous! I have so many brushes, many that I didn't like so finally decided on a "toss out". I kept five brushes that worked for me, two from NYX, three from Milani.

Really fabulous video! Using the right brush makes such a big difference.
I definitely want to pick up the Makeup Geek outer v (7😉) brush.
One that I enjoy is the precision blush brush from EcoTools. I find that it works well for both powders as well as creams. Plus it’s super cheap:)

This is the best, most informative video ever! SO glad I saw this. I just happened to have made an order at SIgma and got my brushes in the mail today. I got that E25 Blending brush plus a few others. I think I need that concealer brush in my life. I loved it over at Sephora so I can buy it next time I make an order. I also already use the elf brush (of course) already for foundation. It's really great for that. I need a good brush for cream blushes and I have yet to find "the one."

I use the ELF concealer brush as a crease brush it looks very similar to your #1 brush for those that are looking for a less expensive alternative .. I love IT cosmetics brushes I have several of their fabulous brushes your Setting powder brush from Kat Von D reminds me so much of the IT cosmetics Wand Ball brush .. I love all of your choices and I do have some of them so yay .. thanks for another great video 😍
