Just a little extra help. You have to have both PS4s connected to the same WiFi network. It may be confusing as to why you have to also connect both via LAN cable. The cable is not used for internet, that’s the WiFi’s job. The cable’s job is to lift the memory from the old to the new PS4 as quick as possible with as little risk as possible. When it comes to doing a big operation between to electronics, wired connection never fails. I’m sure everyone knew this but I’m just stating this for anyone new to stuff like this.

Just figured it out... should mention that on the pro need to change frequency to 2.4ghz otherwise doesn't recognise old ps4... took me ages and doesn't even state that on PlayStation site for transferring between ps4s... it automatically sets it to 5ghz on the pro. Why isn't this mentioned anywhere be so much easier for people doing this upgrading to the pro.

When it’s time to select an account the only option it gives me is my friends (who i game share with) will i be allowed to click his name or will that mess everything up

Men’s saved all of our data so then we don’t have to go through the painstakingly way of getting every single thing that we had all over again I really hope this man’s had a good Christmas and good everything for the rest of his life

ok everytime i try 2 transfer my data it gets stuck on the preparing transfer screen
