The first question was weirded very weirdly. I don't think anyone could've gotten the answer if they had actually stuck with the guidelines of the question. The question says, "He looked at the rocks and knew he was murdered. Why?" this completely implies it has something to do with the rocks and not anything to do with the open window which the policeman had already opened and didn't realize a damn thing
