Public transport is free, but in winters, specially at night, u have to wait for bus at the stop . That is difficult.
Yes, safer than urban, big cities. But then it is what it’s like to live in a village. Nothing much to do if u r not involved in college activities or are an introvert and don’t have friends.

Nitin Sir and community, I need your advice
I have 3 admits, MS CSE at SUNY Buffalo, MSCS from Case western reserve University and MEng CS from Virginia tech.
Cost wise Buffalo is cheapest and case is costliest, but ranking wise it’s opposite.
Please help me choose which one is better for me, I need to go to Case but i need your advice.

With a 334 GRE you could have done better than UMass Amherst. Good MS program, but CMU, GA tech much better
