Loved this film. It still makes my skin crawl, especially at the end. Dr. Moreau seems to actually enjoy his fate.

The only film adaptation of H. G. Wells' novel worth viewing. The film still holds up today. Should be re-released for this and future generations.

Thank you for bringing this HG Wells adaptation to the forefront in COLOR. I remember the Burt Lancaster/Michael York/Barbara Carrera/Richard Basehart version of the late 70's.

"What is the law?"
Charles Laughton is grotesquely fascinating to me. Please continue doing more interpretations of these classics into color vignettes. More Elsa Lanchester. More Baby Jane.

It’s on now on TV. Mom was a year old, dad was five years old, and my uncle was 11. It’s amusing seeing this movie when my parents and uncle were kids and my two grandfathers were in their 30’s.

Pretty good colorization job.
So many colorization efforts I've seen by people over the last couple of years have had that ugly shifting purple tint which ruins it.
This however looks acceptable and I could enjoy the full film like this no problem.
