This film is so underrated. Scared the crap out of mye when I was a kid. The ending scene is gold. 👍

Charles Laughton was such an awesome actor. And human being too from everything I've ever read. Interesting thing I'd seen in an article was that he had a hard time with this movie because he was a serious animal rights activist. Said the idea of his character trying to turn a good four legged friend into a lousy and terrible human being was so grotesque he felt shameful for playing Moreau.
