Trying Muktuk or Whale and other local foods in Nome, Alaska

I edited the longer version of trying the traditional inupiac dried fish and sea mammals.

I think it came out pretty good.

I tried Black muktuk, Beluga Muktuk, Dried Pink Salmon, Beluga meat and Herring eggs.

All were locally caught.

My favorite was the Beluga Muktuk.

Would you try muktuk?

I just watched a tiktok video of a girl asking her friends from Kugluktuk to bring her some muktuk and I had to Google what it was and it's whale skin and blubber traditionally used as food by the Unuit . Now I'm here watching your video which is my 1st video of the muktuk as food ❤🎉🎉🎉. I love seafood and if I'm ever in kugluktuk I will definitely try some muktuk 🐋 🐳. I grew up eating fresh seafood in Santiago, Chile 🇨🇱. I know live in Canada 🇨🇦 and have tried the lake fish 🐟 among moose, elk, deer and buffalo meat 🍖 . There's people that eat bear meat but I don't think that I would ever want to eat that meat. I'm a mama bear 🐻 ❤
