I know this is an older video, but I was just curious if the order that IPs appear matter?

Example being the gateway of last resort (0.0.0.0) as the first entry of the table as everything would match it and at that point the router would stop looking through it's table as it found a match, or does it take the full table into account when making a decision.

If I recall correctly this was an issue we had to take into consideration when setting up and later modifying ACL (Access Control List; could be called something else depending on the Vendor) configurations on the router. I just never thought that the routing table might have the same setup till now, and got curious.
