I gotta say, I hadn't picked up a guitar in years until a few months ago. I wasn't sure I'd even be able to get back at it. Long story short, i stumbled upon your videos. Not only am i excited to pick up the guitar every day again, but your concise and super easy way of teaching has me interested in the theory side. Something i thought I'd never comprehend. As soon as im comfortable enough, I'll be enrolled in your classes. Thanks for helping bring the true sense of music back into my grasp.

Jist joined the patreon and have a 3 day weekend to dig through it. I'm 47 years old and just picked the guitar up 2 months ago. I bought a brand new strat and have a couple aucoustic guitars. Really looking foward to this 🎸👨‍🍳

This tutorial takes me way back to early 2004 when I took my first guitar lesson. My former teacher would always stress the importance of practicing scale and triad studies, so I made sure to set the ground work in place. Fast forward 20 yrs. I think it’s fair to say that my fretboard knowledge is pretty good! I love your teaching style and if I were learning the instrument today I wouldn’t hesitate in joining your community. 👍😎

The best theory lessons in the business 🤯 This big scary fretboard that was overwhelming to me 2 years ago is just a big map to different sounds. Your lessons have been the key to that map. Thank you, sir.

And yet another simple lesson that hits like a sledgehammer in terms of importance. This rules Chris! 🙏

I have seen so many videos about finding the root note of the chord all over the neck. Then you get a blazing fast demonstration of all the same note across all the strings in every scale degree.💩That is really good for shaming me right out of the box.🤬

THIS video shows how.🥰 Very powerful information. Thank you.😁

When I realized this a few years ago I totally began to understand how the songs I knew how to play were played in the position they were in... great content and a great little secret. Thanks for sharing!

Currently using the 5 patterns of the pentatonic to navigate the fret board. This makes a lot of sense and will be super useful. I really good tool for solo improvisation too. Thanks again for another great video.

Excellent lesson Mr Chris. Thank you for making this so simple 💯👍 . I don’t know if you would, but if you could do a lesson on setting the amp, it would be greatly appreciated

I started doing this about 10 months ago. I found it really helpful to learn scales. I started with A minor scale.🤘🏼

God bless this channel. Here is my hack. Remember the perfect 5th is above the root always and the 6th note of any major scale is where the tasty pentatonics begin.
