I definitely love your "just do your best" attitude. This video is probably the best one I have watched on dog toothbrushing and I have been watching quite a few today. I just used your tips on my chihuahua and I just did my best and for the first time it wasn't too bad, we didn't get very far but I didn't want to overwhelm her and I want to keep it positive for her for next time. I would also have to add, talk to them! Tell them hi, here's your brush, here's your toothpaste, pause while you're brushing and just looking straight in their face and say good boy / girl. Make sure when you brush their teeth, you do it the same time everyday. Yes, I brush my dog's teeth everyday at the same time. And he really looks forward to it👍

I am a professional Dog Groomer and certified Pet aesthetic and I brush my dogs teeth every morning before I brush mine, it is a part of her breakfast routine and it works phenomenally

My dog's teeth are cleaned once a year by a dental dog hygienist without Anesthesia. Then I brush my dog's teeth daily with coconut oil. I brush her teeth in the evening before going to bed. My holistic vet strongly suggested using organic raw coconut oil to brush your dog's teeth. My dog seems to like it and the coconut oil is very good especially if your dog has any inflamation.If your dog's teeth are extremely dirty you need to get them professionally cleaned by the vet first then brush daily or every other day using coconut oil.

Hello from Orlando Florida. I have a little 4.5 pound Yorkie who tried to bite me whenever I try to brush his teeth. This is the ONLY time he's ever tried to bite me. My vet wants almost $800 to clean his teeth. I contacted this mobile dog teeth cleaners they want $154. I want to have them come out but first will you give me your opinion of this. Thank you

At the end of the anesthesia free dental procedure, the outside surfaces or your pet’s teeth may appear visibly whiter. However, there is much more than meets the eye. Because your pet wasn’t under anesthesia, there was no ability to clean beneath the gumline where the bacteria that causes periodontal disease occurs and causes bad breath and extensive damage to tooth roots and supporting bone structure. White teeth do not mean a clean and healthy mouth. This is the most unfortunate misconception by many loving pet owners, who don’t realize the potential oral health problems that sit beneath their pet’s gums. Not to mention how freaked out your dog is being restrained for a lengthy period of time without understanding why. Have the vet do it and promise yourself to brush every day. Plus Dr. Jones on YouTube has like 5 things you can do to clean a dog's teeth if they are absolutely not having the brush thing, which is good in general but if you have an older dog then every time they go under anesthesia it shortens their life.
