You videos are great! I am concerned however that your screen shot (57 secs) is showing the link to OneNote Web app and not OneNote desktop app as suggested in your discussion. In our tenant we refer to the OneNote variations as - OneNote Web app accessed via M365 web portal, OneNote for Windows 10 (not recommended due to end of life) and also M365 OneNote desktop application which is accessible via Windows programmes or shortcut tile. Android and iOS apps available for download from appropriates stores but windows store blocked on managed devices.

This was very helpful, I wasn't aware of a change. I kept wondering why my documents wouldn't sync to mobile version. Now its working fine, but I lost a few notes. Not sure how, no big deal. I think I was deleting some notes before completing sync.

On my win11 i only have one version available. The "app" version doesnt exist anymore, now i can access the 365 version only, which is way better imo

Microsoft really should have made this easier. Thank you for clearing it up. When i purchased 365 and switched from Onenote for windows 10 to Onenote (365)(unknowingly. I did not know they were different), I lost notebooks. Do you know how I can get them back?

confusing within windows but also there is an incompatibility between windows one note and mac os one note : we cannot importe from one to the other which is very frustrating when navigating between different laptops / organizations

Thanks for the information, I have used free form data bases for 30 years, using EverNote and many others, it is like having a file cabinet on my computer. I recently retired and while I still have access to my one note files, I fear that could change at any time. Everything I have is saved in onedrive, I really need to get my personal stuff out of there and onto my personal laptop or my NAS. Do you have or know if any videos about that?

In order to get the latest version, Do I have to have Microsoft 365 subscription? I downloaded it from the Microsoft store, installed it but somehow Onenote 2016 is still opening up. I'm using Windows 10.

This video was so helpful. I have ONENOTE on my work laptop, but had ONENOTE for windows 10 on my PC. I’m MUCH more productive on ONENOTE, mostly because I rely on the shortcut keys to apply customized tags. For whatever reason, ONENOTE for windows 10 didn’t allow same level of customization. Good riddance. Thank you for the video

I am currently facing a problem. I have office 2019 and I am stuck with the desktop version of one note and when I try to install the new version from the Microsoft store it says it's already downloaded. Is there any solution pls?

Thanks for your chanel, do you know how to solve copy pase problem in one note? when you copy handwriting note and past it some where it goes messed up, and I couldn't find any solution for that even in microsoft support comminity. can you help me with this problem?
