Canon claims 16 stops of dynamic range for the camera despite it appearing to have less latitude than the C300(In the highlights and shadows). Looks to have about 8-9 usable stops with all the noise at -4 stops.

It'd be really interesting seeing how it stacks up to the Komodo instead of the Raptor. Give how much more I/O and accessories you get with the C400 over the price points aren't that far apart

Hopefully this sensor will be adopted in a C70mii or new similar compact body!
Looks like an awesome camera, but run & gunners like myself don’t really have a need for the higher end cine ports & extras.
A smaller version of the C400, with a box shaped body would be sick

This C-400 camera would be an alternative to the Red Komodo X so I’d love to see it compared. Especially a proper DR test like Gerald Undone does. I have not seen DR results from Red and it would be interesting to see this camera chart results. Also side by side high contrast scenes with post footage grading comparisons. It’s so much to ask but it would be awesome. Your reviews are excellent 🙏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
