Love how they told us the doctors height😂😂

My mom had this with me. It's nothing serious unless it goes undetected. It just means she'll need a C-section. And it has nothing to do with her height, my mom is barely 5 feet tall, and I was less than 7 lbs when I was born

They did my man wrong for putting his height

Placenta previa is usually detected even in the earlier ultrasounds, like at 20 weeks. It should not be a surprise late in the pregnancy. Usually as the womb grows, the placenta moves higher up and the problem resolves itself.
Otherwise, you would have to have a c-section. Nothing to do with the baby’s or the mother’s size/height.

Haha! I don't think the doctors height matters much - but it's a funny piece of info.

Has nothing to do with her size this can happen to women of any size just means she’ll need a c section which is ok

Quite often this can mean the expectant Mother will need to keep activities to a low level, what Doctors used to call complete bedrest.
I was hospitalised for several months during my last pregnancy due to ruptured membrane & got to know all the other long-termers who were stuck in there at the same time & there was about 6 of us at any given time- almost all the other women were in there with placenta praevia. Nearly all of them were in there bcz they'd already had bleeding & the risk of death to both Mum & baby from haemorrhage was too high for them to get to a hospital in time...

All they need to do is have a C section, and then everything will be ok.

A c section with induced labor will be the only route

So shes probably gonna get a c-section. They make it sound like there's no other choice but to have it naturally and take a chance on bleesing to death.

It doesn't have anything to do with height. It is more likely Pregnancy-dependent diabetes.
Due to hormonal turbulences, the mother lacks of Insulin hormone, thus her cells do not uptake Glucose.
The excess of Glucose in the mother's blood is delivered to the fetus through the placenta (which is a "door" between the mother and the baby's bloodstreams).
The baby's Glucose uptake is such that it becomes big and fat, 😂 determining an above-average weight when it is delivered.
It is not dangerous unless it goes undetected.

So no interventions huh. Midwives and Doulas are critical.

Yes, she will probably need a C-section, which is dangerous in itself. Not every case is the same. We have so many medical professionals here.
