यद्राज्यसुखलोभेन हन्तुं स्वजनमुद्यताः ॥ ४४ ॥

aho bata mahat pāpaṁ

yad rājya-sukha-lobhena
hantuṁ sva-janam udyatāḥ

Alas, how strange it is that we are preparing to commit greatly sinful acts. Driven by the desire to enjoy royal happiness, we are intent on killing our own kinsmen.

Yes, our thoughts are the roots to our actions and words. How we think we become. So if negative thoughts manifest into bad actions or words. Why not then think positive thoughts, for they too are sure to manifest. ❤

The best takeaway is: "Thinking to sin, is also a sin". How great Arjuna is for this...

Our thoughts 💭 are based on our thinking. If it's positive then the positive thoughts will come or else negative thoughts.... And it will turn to manifesting into actions..

Through this shloka bhagwad gita teaches us to be selfless and we should be careful about our thoughts because if we are going to meditate about it frequently...then sooner or later it will get manifested too.

Takeaway for today- how to be selfless, how to imbibe the BG in our daily life. Selfless service gives immense pleasure in our lives. Hare krishna 🙏🙏🙏

Nice points about our thought process, and also about reason and process of controlling it! This is hardly cared for in the today's world but being discussed by all at every moments. Alas! how ironic is that! Hare Krishna.

Hare Krishna prabhuji,
The best way to attain happiness is not expecting return from the other person but having faith in krishna. Having faith that he is seeing everything and he will be happy if I am being kind and good human being on earth.
Hare Krishna 🙏

Hare krishna prabhuji,
Arjuna tells thinking of killing our kinsmen is itself a sinful act then killing our kinsmen is definitely a sinful act.

Hare Krishna
Sinful thoughts can lead to sinful speech and action. We have to take care of our thoughts. Bhagavad Gita teaches selflessness. What we think selflessness may be selfishness sometimes. Follow satras to distinguish..

We need to be very causious about the thoughts, speech we make... We must sync them with Bhagvat Gita. Arjuna is so causious about his thinking, and doesn't want to think or do any sinful acts. Gita guides us to be selfless, hope we all imbibe this quality 🙏🙏 hare krishna

Hare Krishna
In this verse Arjuna is convincing Krishna that-
We are driven by our selfish greeds to extent that we are thinking to kill our kinsmen.
And this thought may later manifest into action our speech. So that might cause sin.

Lesson-
We shouldn't be thinking negatively to anyone because these thoughts might lead to speech or action. And ultimately we will perform sins .
Don't think negatively towards any person. It may be sinful

Should be always careful with the thoughts that are running in our mind.If they turn into speech and actions, reactions are to be suffered.

Arjuna says - Even thinking of killing your relatives is a sin.

Here arjun is showing qualities of a true relative and selflessness.
