I would love to see a video dedicated to evaluating the XR Clear Image feature. This feature is all the difference in the decisions between the X90L or the X93L, and between the X93L or the X95L.

Thank you so much for an easy explanation of the Sony range. My brain has been hurting listening to all the different videos. It's like listening to a coded language with very few words in between. So thanks to your video I feel confident in buy the Sony X90L in 65".

Great overview - the X90L with slightly better viewing angles and a few more dimming zones (240 vs 80) would have been a slam dunk.

Why would they put XR Clear in the X90L and not the X93L?? You would think it would be in the more expensive tv

I found an open box 90L at Best Buy for $720. I scooped that right up. Still had the plastic wrap on it. Thanks for the vid

I bought 55" X80CK at Sam's Club 3 months ago on "clearance" for $399. It's a great TV and far better than other other brand TV available for $500 or less has a better viewing angle than nearly all of the other Sonys here.

Too expensive for the tech you get. Check this: a LED 77 inch SONY TV for 2500 euro or a Top of the line QD OLED 77 INCH for 2400 EURO!!! No way I pay this premium for a LED TV!!!! I know Sony thinks they have the Sony TAX but come on! 🤣😂😂😂

The X90L only looks good if you are sitting directly in front of it. I was at Best Buy the other day and was shocked at how badly it fell apart once you went off angle. If you have the extra money, get the X93L.

Just got the x90L 85” two days ago, which I could have purchased the x95L 85” or the a80L 83” but just couldn’t get to where the prices where for those tvs. Compared to a year ago I got the a80j 77” for 1999 too, so I have two great TVs but can really tell a difference still between x90L and a80J just don’t think I can justify spending much more that 2.5k ever on a tv so hoping prices of TVs keep coming down as technology advances and I can keep getting great big TVs.

KG do you think the X90L is better than the Samsung QN90A from a couple years ago? I’m looking to upgrade from 65 to 75 and have liked my QN90, but the price of the X90L for a 75 is tempting?

Of these I tested the X90L and X93L thoroughly. Yes, the X93L is a better TV, it’s got better color depth and picture depth, but it is NOT $1, 000 better. Having gone with my first OLED this year in the S90C, there’s no way any LCD LED TV is worth the same as a QD OLED at the same price. But, for $1, 500 you get the 75 inch, $2, 000 for the 85 inch of the X90L, and those are good prices. But when you can get the 77 inch S90C and 75 inch X93L for both $2, 500, the S90C even for $2, 000 and under from Samsung direct, I don’t see any value in the X93L at that price. If the X93L were like $2, 000 for the 75 inch it could be competitive, but for the prices they’re asking it’s kind of ridiculous. The X90L is 80-90% as good, it just lacks the color pop in movies and a little bit of the more OLED like depth/blacks.

Can you help me with tech problem.
After installing my new TV (Sony XR75X90L) the sound doesn’t work thru my existing surround sound.
The sound works for the cable channels, but the no sounds thru streaming service (NETFLIX) thru surround sound (the sound work thru TV speakers)
My receivers is a Yamaha RX-V863 from 2009.

Bigger is better for now. Especially when it comes to Sony with far less judder, smearing, motion blur issues than a lot of its competition in the price range! We all mostly watch streaming services and a super expensive TV won't fix the compression much. Until then just get the x90L mid level and go as big as you can. It's immersion is amazing and you'll get used to the flaws which are honestly minimal at this point besides the issues I mentioned streaming. Also you could have some cash left over to get one of the many impressive sound bar surround systems. Atmos all day!

I'm stuck between a 75inch inch X90L or 65 inch X93L, use mostly for gaming and watching sports and movies.

I really like tge x90l and x93l, but worry it is too bright for my eyes. I'm more impressed with Sony in it being more true to life than other brand. I might have to go with a A75L or A80L due to that, and my den is normally lights out and blinds closed. I think the colors are more vibrant than the oleds, but was finding I was getting a headache looking at the Sonys Leds.

When my 72" 2008 Mitsubishi DLP TV unit finally bit the dust and I could no longer fix it (yes, it's been crap for a decade), I bought the X90L. I decided 6 years ago I was going was going with a Sony because of the processor. It was only a matter of when. It wasn't a money problem. I'm just cheap. I've could easily afford the X93L, but I was sure that when I got it home, I would be hard pressed to remember the difference. I really like the 85" X90L and am happy with my choice. Getting next day delivery was a bonus even if it's basically a given these days.
