This poem was recorded as part of the poetry project ''Bàrd File Bardd':
Three poets present new work from Irish, Scottish and Welsh perspectives. The things we say, the things we don’t, and the conversations we need to have- as Gaeilge, Gaidhlig agus Cymraeg.

Rinneadh taifead ar an dán seo mar chuid den togra filíochta 'Bàrd File Bardd', le file náisiúnta na Breataine Bige, Ifor ap Glyn, file Éireannach Ciara Ní É agus an file Albanach Pàdraig MacAoidh.
Léiríonn triúr file saothar nua ó pheirspictíochtaí Gaelach, Albanach agus Breathnach.
Na rudaí a deir muid, na rudaí nach ndeir muid agus na comhráite a chaithfidh muid a bheith againn – as Gaeilge, Gaidhlig agus Cymraeg.

Bidh 3 bàird a’ taisbeanadh obair ùr bho sheallaidhean Èireannach, Albannach is Cuimreach.

Trio feirdd yn cyflwyno gwaith newydd o safbwyntiau Gwyddelig, Albanaidd a Chymreig.

I have a question that I've always been reluctant to ask. I'm an American of Irish/Scottish/German descent. IS BREÁ LIOM GAEILGE. But I must confess that I worry that since I didn't grow up Irish and am worried about being accused of cultural appropriation. Do you have any thoughts on diaspora folks learning Irish?
