He isn't defending Louis CK. He's pointing out how ineffective much of Me Too and similar pushes to end sexual harassment, etc. He's pointing out that focusing on retaliation doesn't lead to long-term improvement.

Not only is Dave Chappelle funny as hell an awesome actor but he's smart if this guy was our president I think we'd be doing all right.

I mean the "allegations" said he straight up ASKED and the women didn't say NO so 🤷 it's certainly weird behavior, that's for sure but I wouldn't call it sexual misconduct if you literally asked for consent and weren't negated. One woman did decline and he didn't proceed to masturbate. The other women just laughed thinking it was a joke or didn't say anything so like, is he really to blame? Use your voice and say no in the moment if something makes you uncomfortable. Dont prosecute the man after the fact if you didn't shut it down when he literally point blank asked you "is it okay if I masturbate in front of you?"

I mean while what Louis did was gross and creepy, I have a hard time feeling like he did anything wrong because he always asked the women “hey is it cool if I Jack off in front of you?”

Literally if any of them had an issue with it they could’ve just walked away. They all just got buyer’s remorse because they were probably into it at first because he’s charming and funny, but as soon as the post coom clarity kicked in they were probably like “ewww, he’s bald and old.”
