More than 10% of Ohio's most dangerous intersections are located right here in Toledo, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation, with the metro area containing 16 of the most troublesome spots.

Now, ODOT is starting work on what it considers the most dangerous one of them all - the roundabout that encompasses Cherry Street and Berdan and North Detroit avenues.

The label "most dangerous" is really misleading, because in a roundabout the accidents are just fender benders, when at a traffic light the t-bones cause fatalities

The problem isn't the roundabout, the problem is bad drivers. The signs clearly say which lane to be in to go which way, but too many people just do whatever they want.

They need to make only one Lans leaving Manhattan Blvd and entering the Roundabout at Cherry St. As it is now, 99% of the traffic coming from Manhattan uses the wrong lane to turn right. It is a symptom of Toledo having the worst drivers in the state if not the whole country!

When it comes to roundabouts, do what they do in Dubai where they use right turn signal the moment they pass an exit they don't want to get out of. If the car is blocking your way to an exit, do an extra rotation around it before leaving.
