Killing the Warden With Only a Sword (Hard Difficulty, NO CHEESING)

I guess the Warden in the Minecraft 1.19 experimental snapshot is actually quite killable even without cheesing using towers or holes. Here's how to kill the Minecraft Warden.

I've tried to kill a warden before in full netherite with enchanted golden apples and still lost.

Cobwebs, lava buckets and extra blocks will be the absolute most useful thing when fighting against a Warden. Water slows it down but not enough. If you have fire resistance and coat the area with lava, you have a constant set of damage paired with the slow movement in lava. Plus if you really dont want to fight it you can just place like 5 or 6 iron golems to fight them for you.

I feel like as long as the warden is purely melee, there will be infinite number of ways for him to be cheesed.

They should make the warden immune to fire and lava and drowning and fall damage as well as making it faster in lava or water so that you can’t just stop it with a bucket

To make The Warden a lil bit more OP than it was meant to be:
- Make it able to burrow through stuff, making him unable to be cheesed
- Add him a ranged attack in case a player is too far than normal
- He isn't slowed down by liquids nor other blocks

I'm honwstly impressed you were able to face it and kill it in its own city while having max gear, as I tried what I could to kill one even as far as enchanting a full armor set and equipment using commands and getting a stack of enchanted gapples but I never got close to it as you did in the video to defeat it and be able to face the next one. This is amazing to see as a LOT of youtubers are getting slaughtered b ythe warden right now trying to survive against it. Request: I know you say in the description you want to try with less OP items, but can you try

A. Full Prot 4 netherite, Turtle master level 2 potion for resistance 4 (because of the additional slowness 4, drink a swiftness 2 potion also to counter it )- and your choice of golden apple(absorption 1) or enchanted golden apple (absorption 4)?

And maybe sharp 5 netherite axe(or sword if you prefer their attack speed over the extra damage) with strength 2 potions added in?
Most players can get the above, though getting enchanted golden apples is really hard to get even in mature hardcore worlds...

If you use all the above combo with, say the enchanted golden apple(absorption 4), and the warden still more or less beats you up in a straight fight... then it's hopeless for us hardcore players, and all it takes is falling from a cave onto a shrieker ....to lose everything :(
On the other hand, if you can beat him with the best equipment in the game as listed above- then it proves we're not doomed yet....- Then try again with

B. normal golden apples(absorption 1) (we can actually get those in survival decently, along with the rest of the equipment unlike enchanted apples) - and if absorption 1 still lets you beat him- then we might stand a chance after all.

(yes, 9 end crystals to crystal cycle will get him, but it's tricky of course)(things like towering and tunneling can work for the moment, but mojang's out to stop those per their word so we really NEED a way to beat him straight up in a fight)

The warden can be defeated in FAIR combat with no armor, no potions, hard mode even now with the sonic boom
