I _do_ wear 150mm heels (about 5 +7/8") —single sole, no platform— and they make me 6'3". My 5-11 boyfriend loves me in them ... but those damn clunky stripper shoes ... NFW. We both agree platforms look trashy if not hideous, and I don't need the extra altitude. 👠
