Like @AllyKiss18 said just get a proper NVME M.2 that's faster than the internal SSD and you can use it with an upgraded iMac later on like I did that and now have an 8TB iMac M3

Guys, just get an external nvme- it’s faster and can be switched out whenever needed!

amazing video, it's such a shame that the M1 iMac came only with 8GB RAM, this could be a game changer in the new M3 Models where a 2TB SDD sets you back 800$

Can the iMac 24" M1 (A2439) two port version upgrade to 2TB？Because apple only has 1TB option for that model.

When I do it is all the date on the old ssds. What is with iCloud. Do I need to unlock the Mac with the passcode?
