Video shows whale colliding with boat off New Hampshire coast

A whale collided with a boat off the coast of Portsmouth in New Hampshire, causing it to capsize, and the whole thing was caught on video. CBS New York's Lonnie Quinn spoke with the fishermen who were thrown off that boat, and two brothers who jumped into action.

Those boats are loud and they are taking fish and leaving lines in the water. Seems like a natural response.

Can you please tell them the truth? This is NH. The whales are going crazy from the continued Humm of the wind turbines and the floating fiberglass that's in the water from the failed turbine and the oil & fuel slicks from the wind turbines themselves. You really need to start telling the truth. Cover how Shell and Chevron are backing out of the Ocean Wind Turbine and selling these to the next highest bidder because of the Wind turbine failure rate. Also, huge amounts of debris and fiberglass were washed ashore and was also found in the fish.

Almost Always humpback whales are involved boating mishaps because they enjoy breaching and people like to watch a whale come out of the water. Because humpbacks are the most exciting acrobatic whale, they have the reputation of being the most exciting whale to watch, making all the other whales relatively boring. The killer whale ( big dolphin) seems to be the only “excitement level, ” rival to the humpback as far as aqua gymnastics.

Why didn’t think you were supposed to turn your engines on when there are whales around! Maybe that’s why the whale attacked the boat. Maybe he got hit with a Rutter
