I made my grandparents watch Violet Evergarden. My mum hates anime and is busy on work so I couldn't make her watch this no matter how many times I tried. After 2 months, I finally convinced my grandparents to watch this, since they are retired. They loved first 6 episodes, they told me it was really enjoyable. Yesterday, we watched episode 7 (I told them this is the first time I cried because of a show and that this is my favorite episode). When this scene came, I turned to see my grandma, a kind of person that never NEVER cries, and I saw tears in her eyes. She told me this was the best episode
EDIT: They watched episode 10, she cried to it too, since it reminded her of her mother
