The answer fails to establish the context i.e. the broader scope of the problem with the issues of misinformation and disinformation being the parts of.
The answer offers some facts/opinion but fails to advance our understanding towards the wisdom end.
What about the misuse of information i.e. the incompetence in communication? For example, think of Leaders vs Delegation (skill) compared to Leader vs Leadership (shared responsibility) in a business context. Or majority of people not seeing the difference between the leading party and the Government, where the leading party governs the Government (structure).
What about miscommunication i.e. starting from different assumptions or different needs?
What about the corrupt conduct as the cause of both misinformation and disinformation?
What about propaganda in the context of or as a pretext for military intervention, whilst those not directly involved take sides or simply parrot one side and not the other, instead of advocating for rationality, fundamental rights and responsibilities and peace? Or challenging warring sides on misinformation and/or disinformation through practices of strategic ignorance, denialism, banality, cognitive dissonance etc.
We need to understand that our language(s) is the fabric of our society(ies). Any society that pollutes (tolerates) in their communication industrial or military expressions is a backward society.
