Im in love with the concept of the mandalorian so much, he is quintessentially star wars in that he is quite obviouslt influenced by ronin and cowboys but also that fantasy element of star wars of characters and cultures being this lens into an ancient and archaic history spanning millenia. Thats star wars, its about this struggle for old creeds and religions, for old cultures and traditions, to survive in a world dominated by cold, ruthless political and economic machinery and necessity, its about the triumph of the spiritual over the material.

Mando's nature is sober, mature. His journey: epic. The direction of the film must always follow that path, the path of Mando. No silly characters surrounding it.
