The theme was Garden of Time I believe, so the flowers colors but also the darker more "morbid" outfits fits the theme so well!

I’m not normally into this met gala stuff but l would really read into the theme and the actually story behind it really makes the met gala feel even more dystopian

lol the theme was based on the story of the garden of time, basically a count and countess try to slow down/reverse time with time alternating flowers that he grew to avoid all the army of poor people approaching to destroy them and their home of luxuries goods. The count runs out of flowers and eventually gets taken over, the story basically mocks the rich and their overly luxurious lifestyle while others struggle to survive. In a modern take, celebrities have a large net worth but live overly luxuriously instead of conserving their spending habits (overconsumption and donating to those less fortunate is what i've seen people say.)

Keith Urban is a gentle soul and a wonderful human. My nephew had a "make a wish" and his wish was to meet Keith. They took him out to a concert and he got to sit and visit with Keith for quite a while. As my nephew was very young, Keith asked my sister loads of questions about what was going on, and really tried to put smiles on all their faces, as my other nephew was there as well. Keith will always have a special place in our families hearts for helping a little 3 year old go thru a rough time. Nephew is currently in remission, but will be on medication for the rest of his life, as his cancer keeps flaring up, but at that time, we were told that he was Stage 4 and would be lucky to last 6 months.
