I'm thrilled to return from a brief uploading break with a cover of "Remember Me" from Pixar's Coco! This song is very precious to me, and I loved getting to sing both English and Spanish on this one. My family and I watched this movie together and were reminded of my own grandma, whose memory has been rapidly fading this past year – because of this, I changed a pronoun or two on the Spanish verse to reflect what it might be like if I were singing this to her. Jules did an excellent job on classical guitar for the song, and we are so happy to share our work on this one with you. We hope you enjoy it!

It's funny how Adventure Time had a song named "Remember You" and this movie has one named "Remember Me".
The first one is about a person scared to forget their surrogate daughter and writing her a letter to tell her that he won't come back.
The second one is about a person singing to their biological daughter, telling her that she shall remember them in hopes that they return.
Both are sung to a person in hopes to cure their amnesia.

My father was Mexican and he had Bipolar. Even though he was mentally ill, he loved his three children. When my mother gave birth to my brother, my sister, and me, he had to leave and my mother had to raise triplets by herself until my grandma came to help us. My mother fell ill too. When I was about 9-11 years old, my father came over here to America illegally and I got to meet my him. It caused problems and my mother didn’t let me see him until he got deported. A few years later in the summer of 2019, when I was 14, he passed in his sleep. I never got to know the man my mother fell in love with but he it wasn’t his fault he was sick, he was a good man who loved his family. I know he was. Rest in peace, dad. 💜

How did you do this to me. There are very few things that make me cry and somehow you did it. The actual movie didn't even make me feel sad and somehow you managed to pull my heart strings in the masterpiece. Something about the way you sang this reminded me of my grandma and I don't understand how you did it. I am very amazed at how good this is and I need to commend your efforts on this.
