I am always in constant need to explore and find more books to read even though the ones I bought are lying dormant on the floor.

As always, I leave your videos with more books to add to my TBR. Thank you thank you thank you for amazing recs! Also, I don't think you get enough credit for being a BookTuber who actually takes the time to correctly pronounce authors' names. Impressive.

The Butterfly Lampshade was a great read. It’s a beautiful book written in a slightly dreamlike way and I quite liked it. Lovely new chair. I’m looking forward to the new Butler novel.

she who became the sun is all the rage now in fantasy channels, when a book comes up in both fantasy and lit fiction channels its usually a good sign :-D

I've read People Like Them, and I loved it. It reminded me of Emmanuel Carrere's books. I think that you are going to enjoy it as well. Magma is also an excellent book. Short and powerful. Looking forward to hearing your opinions on both of them. BTW, the new chair is dreamy 😍

Great haul! I’m definitely reading Magma for WIT month. I’ve got to put together my TBR for August.

Just put Godspeed on my list! It comes out on Tuesday over here with a gorgeous cover, so I’ll be on the lookout for it. Thanks for mentioning it!

I’ve been looking at The Giant Dark for a while now. It does sound quite good.

I met and wrote with Shaun Levin last year. I really enjoyed Seven Sweet Things and am looking forward to reading his story collection.
He’s a terrific writer and writing instructor and a very kind person too.

I am so impressed by your pronunciations haha 😂 and some great titles!
Have you seen Evaristo's list of classics for the Sky Arts Book Club? Would love to see your opinion on her list! ❤️

Speedboat is great, though its structure/style has since been oft repeated so may affect its impact reading it 50 years later

I was looking forward to reading "The Butterfly Lampshade" but my request was sadly rejected. I cannot wait until Overdrive gets it though. If I can wait that long without buying it myself. I'm also really excited to get to "She Who became the Sun"

I have read since a small child but now I am in my sixties I get really panicky that I am running out of time to read everything, going into Waterstones is quite traumatic

The chair looks really nice but I'd rather have all the books in your bookcase. 📚

How are you not running out of room to shelf your books?
