This hero is the Middle East winner of the UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award. Meet Rana Dajani

Scientist Rana Dajani launched a global reading project that has reached nearly half a million children. For her impact on refugee children and thousands of others, she has been chosen as the 2020 Nansen Refugee Award regional winner for the Middle East and North Africa. The UNHCR prize honours those who have gone to extraordinary lengths to help forcibly displaced and stateless people.
