As a former firefighter, the fire chief assertions are all ridiculous. 1. If you are masked up, nobody is going to know that you "look like them" or care for that matter. 2. Her stating that if you got yourself in a "bad spot" and you are on our own should be enough for immediate termination. No way am I climbing in the jump seat with someone who doesn't feel like it's their responsibility to perform a rescue. What happens if we are on an interior attack and something goes wrong. Based on her words she is bailing and I am on my own. WTF!
