for all the music nerds out there...i just LOVE the fact the pianist is actually playing the score with proper gear (even triggering the voice samples) you would have found in a home studio back in the days, with the mpc and other sample based stuff which is definitely needed to play not-so-keyboard-like sounds, such a cool detail!

This is Kubrick's masterpiece. Like the author of the novelette this is based on, Arthur Schnitzler, he exposed the elite and died not long after. Says a lot.

This is obviously an extremely edited version relying on repetition and slow motion to make up for the fact that half of the scene is missing because of explicit nudity.
This scene has to be seen in the movie to be fully appreciated.
