The saddest part is when Pibby is missing her eye, when she wonders about this "Red water" leaking from where it used to be.
It's like Pibby was not written to even know what blood is, as if this incident torments her by confronting her to something she never used to know about.
And that thing is... the very thing that so many bodies have: A red liquid that flows through the veins of each natural being, where having them leaking is a sign that this body is damaged.
Pibby was confronted to learning about blood, just like when she learnt about having their friends taken by force by an apocalyptic... thingy.

I have a theory. In the final gumball episode Rob warned everybody from a "corruption" that's going to happen. He tried to warn them but they thought he lied. He wanted to turn everybody into humans to keep them away from the cartoon network incident that was going to happen. But he died. And the corruption released all over cartoon network and the cartoons. And learn with pibby events happened after gumballs final episode. And the corruption took over. That's my theory.

Some people are associating the glitch with Cartoon Network itself. Something about how when the networks gets too hands on with its involvement on shows, they become empty husks of what they were originally, it actually does make sense. Look at teen titans and teen titans go, look ay the original powerpuff girls and the reboot, one is a timeless classic with good writing, characters, actually funny jokes and a lot of staying power, while the other is a shameless, lazy interpretation with no soul

Nobody seems to be noticing the fact that whatever the glitch is, it _took full control of Finn._ Goddamn Finn Mertens. Any of you remember how downright insane his willpower is? It's literally an element of the plot in some episodes. Clearly, the glitch _can't_ be overpowered by sheer will if it took Finn. Just imagine that, it's so powerful that you _cannot_ resist it when you're taken. Finn has literally overpowered things that would directly hijack his nervous system before, and this thing has its hand up his ass like a puppet

I think the glitch like malice thing symbolizes companies turning cartoons into corporate cashgrab by making reboots, cheap licenced merch and many more, the malice looks like it has widely spreaded across multiple networks, and it’s hard to imagine a cartoon network that hasn’t become corporate cashgrabs is unimaginable (Disney, Nick and CN for example) and the malice infects both old and new cartoons, and in real world old cartoons becomes corporate and new cartoons are born corporate

I'm wondering if the creators of The Amazing World of Gumball had a part in this as well? The end season of Gumball had this similar entity infecting the world, threatening to end it all, with a very dark ending of the series where Rob falls into the static and the issue not getting resolved, it just ended right there.

Here is my theory
I think it has to do with shows ending/cancellation. Once the show ends there’s no longer a world being expanded . Now here’s my theory why certain characters survived . Spin off shows . Why is the side kick still alive ? Because more likely than not a sidekick will grow up to surpass his mentor and become his own superhero with his own show/ sidekick . Pibby would be considered a main character but since it’s a kid show she will get her own spin offs regardless because kids will always remember pibby just like how we would remember Dora in the real world . And for the Disney villain, now Disney villains is a little harder to understand why she would survive but my guess would be that she actually has a heart of gold and can become her own protagonist in a show once her redemption arc is finished . That’s why certain characters would stay alive and others won’t because they have room to be brought back in a spin off/ their own series . But that’s just my theory .

It's probably novel, but something odd here. Fred Flintstone is under the impression the bedrock is safe. This implies that either A. Fren thinks he's seen something like that before, or b Pibby and beta kid are from ongoing shows and didn't think a long ended show would be attacked.

I didn't think you knew about this upcoming show . I also think this is a way how animators and watchers etc want the show to be making it corrupt and only when it ends are the characters actually safe as nothing could happen to them
