[WR] Morrowind All Main Quests Speedrun in 12:45

One of these days I'll remember to rename the Maar Gan split, but today was not that day.
On this stream I implemented an idea I've had for a while but never got around to trying. It involves not buying Bound Longbow or Bound Spear. Verick Gemain has a bow that we can buy, so there is the added task of having to find it and buy it. This can be tricky because it's another random item you have to find and react to where it is located in the barter window.
This saves time in two ways. First, you don't have to buy the spells from the Balmora Mages Guild guide. The other section that is affected is when killing the Census and Excise agent during the Vivec Informant quest. Since there is no summon animation required, you can ready the arrow sooner, saving time. The shot is trickier because you don't have any time to line up the shot as those animations are playing out, you just go as fast as you can go.
After killing Calvario, using the bow from the Urshilaku Burial Grounds seems to be required because the first bow we bought has a low durability. I haven't tested exactly how many shots you can take before it breaks, but after 2, it seems to be very low. The new bow you get has full durability, and you need it for the main questline, so it makes sense to just switch to that bow for the rest of the run anyway. But, this means there is also the added step of making sure you're using the right bow. They look pretty different and one has a magical icon, but it's still something to keep in mind.
For the spear, the Dwarven Spear from the beginning of the run serves us just fine, despite its limited durability with the amount of strength we have. There isn't any problem with one shotting every enemy, and you only need to use it 6 times (I think?) in the entire run.
All things considered, this probably saves around 1.5-2 seconds, but as I explained, depends on your ability to purchase the bow from Verick Gemain quickly, and your ability to make sure that the correct weapon is equipped. It is a bit of an adjustment for a few parts of the run, but is definitely worth it at this level.
