What I really like about you is that you make videos about ships ( or navies and navel operations) that are not very well known, like this one. Keep up the good work.

Italian water towers in the Adriatic must have trembled in fear at these new developments.

I love the look of the ships of this era. Wish there were more available plastic models of them!

Drach, ever considered doing a video on the floating drydocks of the pacific war or in the naval logistic operation of said war?

Beautiful ship, really great video. My favorite from the time is MN Depuis de Lome, the first french armored cruiser, and such a beauty!

Ship request: HSwMS Fylgia. When launched in 1905 she was the smallest armoured cruiser in the world. She made many voyages across the world, survived both wars and a stint as a target ship without sinking. Her turrets being removed and used in fortifications near the Finnish border. One installation survives as a museum.

I visited their wikipedia page yesterday, what a coincidence, I stumbled across SMS Zrinyi with her insane secondary batterie and found my self comparing austrian cruisers to the german Scharnhorst Class.

These short vids are kinda like a roller coaster ride. especially the winding down at the end so quick like that....like pulling back into the exit platform after a ride. Like, "That's it? I mean, that was great, Uncle Drach... can we go again?" so i am off to watch the last Drydock or listen to the story of some naval battle.

Austria "No battleships, they're too vulnerable"
GERMANY "And there's battleship number 31, and here's number 32 and here's number 33"
