Pruning 101 - how to wrap a grape vine

Our winter pruning involved cutting out most of the old canes and selecting two (or four) new cans to wrap along the fruiting wine.

If you are leaving that vine there on the wire for more than a year, the vine will eventually absorve the wire and when you want to take it off it will be 10x harder

What if I don’t have wires but a front window and a porch, I wanna wrap one around my porch and on the windows 😢😢
