Great tune from 1967- I was on my way to Vietnam so I never really heard it. Now, when I hear this song it still feels like a new song to me. The most exciting era of my life!

The ultimate "happy/sad" song...the lyrics are sad, but the music is flat-out rollicking happy.

Great song of the 60`s, have the LP in the picture and still plays like new. The 60`s were the best time in the music world. Great rockin` beat to sing along with. Where has all the great music gone, need to bring it back.

Love Cat's sweet version, but this one has cow bell and whistling, and it's the one my brother played when I was little. ♡

Never heard of this song or group in my life
Literally just found the 45 RPM in my basement, played it and listened to it for the first time. Played perfectly, no skips or anything.
Now may be one of my favorite songs of all time.

Both this version and the one by cat Stevens are classy ! 1967– a little boy aged 8 and his first ever single he bought was .. Here comes my baby. And I’ve still got at 53 years later

For all the times I have heard this song, just now it's reminding me of that oldie, 'If You Wanna Be Happy For the Rest Of Your Life ( never make a pretty woman your wife)

I love most oldies. I wish I had been alive in 50's 60's 70's. Anything is better than todays crud that we hear. Just what happened to good music?
