Neo is where the artwork really picked up. Neo Discovery is the earliest set I really think holds up to modern from the perspective of artwork imo

I also like the steel-type background for the cards and how it makes it look like a real sheet or shim of metal.

I was not alive when Neo came out and I really don't even remember when I got into Pokemon, but for vintage Neo is my favorite and I like Revelation the most with the Ho-oh, because of the style and how it matches with Lugia and Skarmory.

I bout some holo rares in a bundle, but I wonder if its worth it to go for one of those ebay $400 master sets, since they seem so much more worth it for my buck. What do you think?

A) THAT SCYTHER IS GORGEOUS SUPER COOL WEIRD CARD!

B) I think Rally has an MP shining Celebi atm not sure what condition you’re looking for on those but might be worth it next time you’re there!

C) I know a guy with a pretty clean first Ed Shining Zard just like if ya wanted it 👀

D) Most important for last, enjoy the hell outta Dallas and get lots of good footage so I can live vicariously through you 🤣 *cough* Sandaconda *cough* *cough* 🤣💛🫡
