For those wondering why the band stopped half-way up the mall, their coaches blocked the road ahead of them towards Buckingham Palace.

Love the bit at 2.10 when they reform to take up the full width of the Mall.
Very, very impressive when they march up towards the palace.
I went to the Beating of the Retreat at Horseguards many years ago and have always wanted to go again.
They are the best in the world, nobody can march and play like the Royal Marines, so smart.
