BRUNEI TO TAKE OVER ‘LONGEST BRIDGE IN SOUTH EAST ASIA’ TITLE IN 2019.

Brunei Builds a Bridge Longer than the Penang Bridge. Temburong Bridge, The longest bridge in South Asia to date. One of the benefit is reducing the journey times. It will connect Mengkubau and Sungai Besar in Brunei-Muara District and Labu Estate in Temburong District. This 30 km bridge is built over 14.6km above sea level and 12km above the marshland. The construction of the Temburong Bridge is also underway by Daelim and the China State Construction Engineering Corporation. Construction started in 2014 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
