Come October 1, Joseph Dant will take the helm of Naperville’s campus.

He’s served in community healthcare since 1997, and for the past two and a half years has been the executive vice president of Edward’s health ventures in the physician and ambulatory network.

“It had been such a great fit for me here, with my own personal values and the values of the organization that I joined two and a half years ago. All the support that I have from the team here really makes me a lot more excited than it does nervous. So I’m really looking forward to a new challenge.”

Dant takes the seat as current president and CEO Bill Kottmann is retiring.

Kottmann was in the position since July 2016, and has served in other senior executive roles for the hospital and Edward-Elmhurst Health for 28 years.
