Welcome to Melbourne Airport, my home airport. Australia's second busiest airport after Sydney. Melbourne has 2 runways and the smaller, more imfamous one is runway 09/27 and this video features clips of landings & takeoffs ONLY from this runway. Runway 27/09 has limited vantage points and the ones it does have are situational or painfully annoying to reach.

This video features some new clips filmed very recently, as recent as last month and also some older clips filmed years ago when the best spotting location for 09/27 was still accessible. The closure of this spot in 2019 adds to the challenge of this runway and whilst it is a situational runway, you can get some great footage if you have the paitence and pick the right days!

Nice shots. Melbourne Airport management are strange, It's like they are anti spotter for some reason. The old Mansfield road 27 spot was great. I still don't understand why they closed it off.
