What is the pop noise when you crack your back? | Chiropractic popping noise | Chiropractor crack

Показать описание
The popping noise from a chiropractor is caused by the separation of two bones. When the bones are pulled apart quickly enough, gas is pulled out of synovial fluid because of a sudden drop in pressure. When the gas is drawn out of the fluid, a pop is created.

This is the best explanation I've seen on YouTube. Thank you.👍

I know the science behind it, it’s just air, but I still like to believe the cracking comes from breaking up crusty crystals that glue the joints together.

The hand trick to demonstrate the popping noise is so brilliant. I could never understand this concept until that.

Very nice thank you, I’ve been searching for this answer.

One more question: what is the tension (pain) caused from that a joint popping (adjustment) relieves?

Obviously there’s something putting pressure on a nerve that the popping relieves. Almost like an inflated bubble, like bubble wrap. It inflates because of some kind of stress.
I’m imagining all this.

Great channel!! 👍

My wife has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which is where your ligaments are too loose and don't keep your bones together as well as causing lots of other muscle and intestinal issues. I have to crack her back sometimes as many as 4 times a day. It's an often undiagnosed disease that masks itself to look like many other odd pain-related issues that are not related. Most doctors treat these symptoms the way they normall do with other patients. This is problematic for people like her.

Hi Doc! I love every single one of your videos and really appreciate everything you put out, it’s expanded my knowledge and helped me A TON in my path to working out again. Thank you for everything!! That being said, I wanted to ask you something. You mentioned that popping noise can be harmless and okay. My left wrist constantly pops nonstop with every clockwise or counterclockwise motion I do, and I know it’s because of my injuries in the past. My right hip feels twisted and more forward than my left hip. I’m a healthy 25 year old male, my questing for you was, because of the potential nerve or bone or whatever problem I may have in my wrist and because of my hip/pelvic situation, who do I see?
Who would be my best bet at a specialist?
I’ve delayed getting treatment for a while and any recommendation on who to visit would be very appreciated. Thanks :)

Hi doc! Thank you for your videos!
I just have a clarification question, so the popping noise is the sound of formation of those gas bubbles, right? Not the bursting of the bubbles?

Why and how does popping your joints fix extreme pain from injuries? It fixed my lower right back and both of my elbows.
