My friend still uses his iPhone 6 it’s the 4.7 inch model and his battery health is frozen on 90% because of course there’s no more Apple updates to re-calibrate the battery health. The only major app he has on it is Facebook and I didn’t ask him how the performance is but he can easily go through an entire day playing music while outdoors, using a few apps and FB messenger and phone calls. We tease him that it must be nuclear powered or some experimental nuclear phone Apple released by accident because that thing just will not die.

Lol I turned on my old iPhone 6 today and literally it was so slow and the battery drained 2% in 1 min literally so Ik how iPhone 6 is now thankfully I got the SE 2

I finally upgraded from the 6 back in November 2019. My 11 runs so much better, that 6 did its job but wow, I was missing out and didn’t know it. I kept mine in a LifeProof case and it stayed in great shape over the years.

Get an iPhone released in 2015 or after. The extra gig of RAM makes all the difference. I think 2 GB is sufficient enough or at least for a couple more years. While 4 GB can last a decade (2015-2025).

I use an Iphone 6 even in 2022 for me capturing photos and playing Call of Duty all is fine and graceful. Actually nobody needs a phone upgrade every year. Its just a flex nothing else.

Still using my 6, installed a new battery a few years ago. Touch screen recently starting acting wonky, did a phone reset working better. I did order a new battery and touch screen so I'll install those parts and see how it goes. I'm an old dude mostly use it for light texting, phone, news, music, etc., oh and of course YouTube videos :)

Still have my 6 plus, it's sitting in my 8 plus box as we speak. I upgraded to the 8 plus in 2017 and to the Galaxy S20 in 2020. So it's two phones ago now. I turn it on every now and then just to give it a little charge. It is incredibly slow and hard to use these days, but no bend and no touch disease.

Watching this on my iPhone 11 after I switched up from a 6 a few weeks ago. This video speaks to me. Big ups to anyone still using an iPhone 6 . It’s hard using that phone in 2021, especially if you’re a gamer like me. Y’all doing the most 🙌..

Been sticking to my iPhone 6s Plus for about a good 5 years now, I can everything said in this video is perfectly true, though I am fortunate enough to not experience any major touch disease.

Other than the terrible battery, this phone is still going strong—I even have an OtterBox phone case so it’s nearly invincible in everyday use.

When it finally gives out (to which I’ll give a valiant salute for its testament of time), only then will I upgrade to a newer model. Right now though, I feel it’s got *at least* 2-3 more years of life, maybe even more depending on its physical condition.

Not sure if I got really lucky but I recently received my dad's iPhone 6 and it has excellent battery life, far better then my Galaxy S7 that I have used for 4 years.
