Private Tuition (Or Private Tutoring as we'd call it in the states) is an interesting little room. In theory, it can be quite useful. Helping a struggling student who is falling behind catch back up with her or her classmates can do wonders for your class average, but is it the most effective thing? Today we build an efficient private tuition room that hits about as hard as it can while keeping to its modest 3x2 space.

Private Tuition rooms help with additional income. Even students with ok grades will use private tuition to bump their grade from B to A. Their not just for the failing.

I think the maximum learning bonus you can get from a 3x2 setup is +12%. You get that with 8 of the following in any combination: Tuition Bookshelf, Bookcase, Wall Chalkboard. I do it with 6 Chalkboards and 2 Bookshelves. Note that there's no extra benefit in terms of learning bonus from placing a 9th item of these in that room, so having 6 Chalkboards, 2 Bookcases and one Bookshelf as shown in this video isn't optimal.

The Food Groups poster is better than average, but I find the Circuit Board delivers the biggest bonus. I have managed to get the room to 7 prestige using 4 rugs (flowery, duck, star, patterned), the portable TV, 2 teaching manuals, 2 circuit boards, a food group poster and then placing a bunch of posters behind the chalkboards. Only some will work for that, but I've found headphones, sound, jasmine, motivational, visible, purple-man, graphic and bomb can do it. I should also mention the bin and hand sanitizer fit in that room along with a temperature controller if needed, although there's no space for any windows.

Great video as always. I hope they fix the bug that randomly causes some items to be invalid soon. The bookshelf works in some locations on campus but not others. I still managed to get the prestige by varying the rugs and posters.

I think the blue robot posters that are $600 can fit 2 on one tile square, many other posters are like them too but the framed pictures take up more space

Could you make a video about general things such as best ways to fullfill peeps' needs ? Because I've started to realize that building like in TPH is a mistake in some cases as some items serve a different purpose or are used a bit differently (like all the relationship items for instance).

Thanks for another great design! I suddenly found that a bunch of my clown students were failing (no idea what I did wrong). Fortunately I had the $ to create several Private Tuition rooms and brought the students grades up. Them I sold off several and fired the extra teachers.

Currently I have a Campus with one course full with A+ students (minimum of 95% grade) due to highly trained teachers and fully upgraded study material. Do these students still make use of the Private Tuition room themselves or would you have to micromanage them? As its getting tedious with higher number students I just closed the room as 95% average grade is excellent if you would ask me... until some Education Minister challenged me to get an average of a 100% for a measly 10.000$.

Is there any benefit for a private tuition teacher (only) to have a specific course trained. In other words, is there a boost to private tuition if the teacher has training in the course which the student belongs?

private tuition is so buggy for me. theres is always somebody first in the waiting queue who is on the other side of Campusand the other students will wait for some time and then cancel their plan to go to tuition. a video how to avoid this would be amazing
