Cool one!! if you want to maintain the shiny copper colour, use some laquer to cover it. If not, it will turn in very dark with fingerprints on it.

I love simple design. Add to the functionality and you have a great project. Are you going to put anything on the copper to maintain the shine, or go for the green patina that will inevitably make an appearance?

I guess epoxy works just as well as solder but I think I'm going to try it with solder. good idea!

Very cool idea, but I think soldering it would be better, but epoxy for someone who has never soldered anything. Great for camping or a time when you lose power.

Tried to use a funnel as a coffee dripper but the filter clogs very fast, even if I use a coarser setting than if I were going to use my normal dripper. What might be the cause?

How small is the tube for the funnel, I'm looking at it on amazon but I still can't really tell if it would drip my coffee slowly or not.
