In case you're gonna try, here are the steps:
1- Wash leaves
2- Add washing powder in a bowl
3- Add a bottle of water
4- Add leaves and boil it for 20 minutes
5- After 20 mins, remove the leaves and soak in water for as long as you can
6- Brush both sides with toothbrush or cotton
7- Colour

Hi, so for anyone who has questions about this, I'm really sorry I didn't actually try this. This was just so people who wanted to try it didn't have to re-watch the whole video.

Plus I don't really think this method would work so if you really want skeleton leaves, try using the leaves of Sacred Fig's leaves. I don't really know anything about this tree but it has a bunch of different names you might be familiar with. Here they are:
bodhi tree, pippala tree, peepul tree, peepal tree, pipal tree, or ashvattha tree
If you've heard any of the names above and can get a hold of this tree's leaves, use them instead. They're much better and easier for making skeleton leaves. You can search for the tutorial on youtube~

Steps:
1. Wash the leaves
2. Add spoonfull of washing powder
3. Add water in Bowl
4. Add the leaves and cook
5. Take a toothbrush (you know what to do)
6. Make dry and add some colors
7. Make it dry again and your done..

And my art teacher uses these tender and very delicate leaves for drawing on it !
And my reaction was unbelievable to it cuz man those leaves are really delicate once they lose all the chlorophyll and becomes transparent. I made those type of leaves at home cuz I didn't trust him when he said the technique to make it, but the results are really wonderful. Worth trying!!
